Leader of Alex’s Lemonade Stand (and Alex’s mom) is Coming to Memphis!

4-year-old Alex Scott organized her first lemonade stand in her front yard while battling neuroblastoma.

Her simple yet profound mission – to help doctors find cures for all children with cancer by funding research – has transformed into a national movement that raised $1 million by the time she passed away when she was age eight.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation has since raised nearly $350 million (and gave $9.9 million to St. Jude for research).

Liz Scott, Alex’s mom and the leader of the nonprofit, is coming to Memphis on July 30th and I would love to invite you to meet her!

An Army of Normal Folks and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill Collierville (one of their national partners) are hosting a lemonade stand benefiting the charity, “The Most Epic Lemonade Stand in Memphis History”, from 10:45-2pm.

Liz will be at the stand from 10:45-11:45 and thanking attendees for their support.

Before this, An Army of Normal Folks’ host Coach Bill Courtney will conduct a live podcast interview with Liz at Firebirds from 9:15-10:45 am.

This family-friendly event offers a perfect opportunity for kids to learn about philanthropy and the power of dreaming big.

While RSVPing for the lemonade stand isn’t required, we recommend doing so at LizScott.Eventbrite.com to ensure that we have a cup saved you. Lemonade is $3 per glass. Seating for the podcast interview is limited to 40 people, so advance registration is essential to secure your spot.
